My Super Summer Summarized

Hello there, reader. Tons has happened since I last spoke to you.
I have gone to the boarding school of my dreams for an Environmental Science course at the summer program which was AMAAAAAZIIIING!

We all had an amazing time together. I was the youngest (I am 13 years old) with these three friends being 16 years and above years old. Lavonnie, Chemeeka and I went out hiking every single day to have some in-the-field-work, while Karen would stay in a nice air-conditioned lab just because it was her 2nd year there. 

I also went to Greece. Yes, paradise in crisis. My two sisters and I stayed with our Dad in our farm in Southern Greece. (http://www.facebook.com/groups/84097811693/) It was awesome, especially since we have a new pond in the bird enclosure! It's great fun. 

The pond is much bigger and livelier than this. Plus, there's a small stream that develops at the tip of the pond and it is the hot spot of the pen!

This is my little sister, Joanna with a baby rabbit. Cuteness overload. Enough said.

Yeah, this summer was great! I got to learn how to distinguish species of trees in the Eastern part of the USA, I learned how to drive, and most important of all... I now love the Lord of the Rings.

Hi There

I'm so tired of forcing myself to promise my small audience (which could only be me) new posts. It's not that I have nothing to talk about, it's just that I don't exactly have the energy it takes to put actual meaning into what I write. For example, each day I slowly morph into a sloth. I truly wish I was joking. I just lounge around the house and inhale sugar filled food and head to school where all that energy is spent. Then I return home and crawl into bed hugging my stuffed penguin and waking up to a pile of homework. So, yes, that's a day in the life of Zona.
I'm not really going anywhere with this post but that's alright, because I haven't written in a long time. I'm a little rusty.

Blank Mind, Blank Screen

What do you, yes, YOU want me to write about? Shall I have a weekly 'job' to do, like review songs or 'Poem of the Day' where I either write or share a poem.
I do enjoy blogging but it's difficult to come up with a topic to write about. Any suggestions? Please contact me, as I do want to blog.

A Very Lost Person

Do you ever feel like you're losing yourself? Or worse... feeling like you aren't even a person. It's hard to explain but whenever I do something expected like lightly slap someone or say something sharp, I kick myself for being someone I don't want to be. Every time I do something "normal" I build up such anger towards myself and my immature actions. Am I not a person that I want to be, and am just a person I am?
To some, I'm this crazy girl that never shuts up and is extremely stupid, with stupidity and girl-like responses that at one point just becomes utterly revolting. To others, I'm a very sophisticated, mature and shy girl that sputters out words when on the spot. To most, I'm a strange girl that has a huge, red question mark on her face.
Is it just me? Am I the only person who is this insecure about their actions? In my case, it has absolutely nothing to do with the way I was raised, I had a good childhood, but at school I'm always trying to be aware of what I will and am going to do.
Please inform me if I still have my sanity and I'm not the only paranoid person out there. Thank you!!!

Valentine's Day

I honestly don't like Valentine's day. It just isn't romantic; shouldn't everyday be the day you cherish your loved one? It's also that creepy, fat, flying baby. He goes by the name 'Cupid'.... Personally, Valentine's Day is messed up.
I propose Single's Day! Let's have one day when Single people celebrate being forever alone! Pshht, it may be depressing but it's better than Valentine's Day. Who wants to see a couple in love when you're alone on Valentine's Day?!
Anyway, have a great week and have fun on the 'Love Day'.
